There are many organizations and agencies in the community which provide opportunities for volunteers who wish to help with the problems of family violence. It will take a whole community to change solve such a difficult problem.


The Exchange Club Family Center

The Mission of The Exchange Club Family Center is to break the cycle of child abuse and neglect by replacing abusive and violent behaviors with effective parenting skills.

Administrative hours are 8:30-4:30 Monday — Friday; we have someone on call for emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call for specific class days and times.

We can use volunteers — adults only.

We need donations of these goods and services: Peanut butter and cheese crackers and 100% fruit juice boxes for our children’s Domestic Violence Program. Also, art supplies, stickers, canned goods, etc. Financial donations are always greatly appreciated as well. Please call for more details on how you can help.

The mission of the Memphis CAC is to serve children who are victims of sexual and severe physical abuse through prevention, education and intervention.
