The Memphis Crisis Center and the Family Safety Center in partnership with the University of Tennessee Health Science Center will be holding their first annual domestic violence conference, Bridging Troubled Waters, with guest speaker former TV anchor Dee Griffin, in the UTHSC Student-Alumni Center. Entry is free.
A conference to equip employers, business owners and supervisors with the knowledge, understanding and resources to recognize, respond and refer when battered employees or colleagues need help – when domestic violence comes to your workplace. This is a safety and security issue, a risk issue, a cost and productivity issue. Come learn how to develop workplace policies and smart, compassionate responses for the day when the problem comes to your workplace.
Includes breakfast and lunch.
Downtown, Memphis.
